Our Partners
To serve the community and advance Northwest Indiana, we've partnered with several local organizations which help support NWIRA programs. Our community partners include:
Northwest Indiana Reinvestment Alliance
St. John Baptist Church
Hammond Human Relations
School City of Hammond
Crisis Center
Prosperity Indiana
Community HealthNet
Northwest Indiana Community Action
Community Center Development Corp.
Bushra Rehman
Continuum of Care Network/DFGC
St. Patrick’s Church
One of our key initiatives has been the assembly of the Northwest Indiana Banker's Community Council (BCC) which consists of representatives from Northwest Indiana's top banks, plus representatives from community groups who work to explore ideas and projects where nonprofits, and governmental agencies and the financial sector can work together.
The Council enables community leaders to hear about the challenges and opportunities facing the future of community investments directly from the financial services community. Likewise, financial experts engage with community lenders around issues of critical importance.
Additionally, we've established a strong partnership with the Lake County Community Economic Development Department to form the Lake Housing Task Force. You can learn more about this initiative here.
